What is Pelting?

Pelting is the most exciting, new projectile sport of 2026. Two competitors locked in a cage for 1 minute rounds, whoever hits the opponent the most with the peltballs wins. Additional points are granted for headshots and catching the opponents ball. See below for complete detail PDF on how to play.

Hello,

my name is Tyler, and I am the creator of Pelting.

Pelting was created with one goal in mind: to bring people together though an intense, fast-paced physical competition. Inspired by dodgeball, I wanted to reimagine the game by increasing the action and narrowing the focus to pure one-on-one intensity.

The result was simple but powerful -two players, a small enclosed area, and foam balls. From that concept, Pelting was born. What began as an experiment in my apartment has evolved into a new sport built on energy, competition, and excitement.

American pelting Championship

The American Pelting Championship is the competitive home of Pelting, hosting tournaments, events, official media content, and more.

The championship structure is currently in development, with rules, formats, and league operations designed to evolve as the sport grows.

Thank you for being here early- we’re excited to shape the future of Pelting and APC together.

The cage

The cage is the core arena of Pelting. It is a 15-foot by 6-foot steel structure designed for fast-paced, close-quarters competition. The frame is fully padded with foam, enclosed with netting, and placed over a protective mat to ensure a controlled and safe playing environment.

Six foam pelting balls are locked inside the cage along with both competitors. The compact dimensions intentionally limit evasive movement, shifting the focus from dodging to precision, and relentless throwing - true to the name Pelting.

If you’re in Las Vegas, would you step inside the cage?
